Bhagavatham clearly defines Swargam as “Sathwa gunodayam” and Narakam as “Thama unnaham”…..meaning where Satwic qualities predominate is Swargam and where Tamasic nature rules is Narakam. Now about Surya Loka, Vishnu Loka etc. nature and it’s powers have been worshiped in Sanathanadharma as Devas, because sustaining them and maintaining them in turn makes our life and sustenance better and predictable. If you live well on earth, even your afterlife will maintain your mind in a certain pleasurable state called Swarloka. Moreover, all these levels of Gunas and experiences exist in a Supreme consciousness hence eerezhu pathinalu lokas are said to be part of the Divine body. Hari Om.
