namasthe swamiji, thank you for your replay. i am fine abt it. thank you so much. and i have a dought.my mother-in-law is performing durga puja & kubera lakshmi puja at every fridays.and they said to me to continue this in my life. i am ready to conduct it. but devi is the sign of natural power, so it will tied me in this maya world? i am trying to reform me from this maya world.what can i do?i want to live without any type of desires.is lakshmi pujas will change our mind.if it is so i cant perform it.pls advice me.

Dear Dhanya,
It is not the Pooja, but the attitude (expectation) behind the Pooja that leads to MAYA.
If your intention is true, surrender and be with the Self through the idol, and your worship during Pooja; such a Pooja will purify your mind.
(Refer to Geetha Chapter 5, Sloka 25 and Bhagavatham Canto 11, Chapter 23, Sloka 46).
