Namasthe swamiji, what is right and wrong? My husband is in a relationship with another girl, she is a divorcee and he wants to marry her. I don’t know a solid reason for separation apart from this girl. He moves out of house or doesn’t bother to talk to me for days. Most of the time he does things for himself. We didn’t get opportunity to be together apart for a few days. Ours was love marriage and he had convinced my parents to marry me and i really helped him to live his dream of working abroad as a nurse and it was his gift for me after his first visit he brought divorce paper. i am now in uk for my masters. What will i do swamiji?

If I understand your long letter well, you are preparing for a divorce mentally as much as your husband is. Three years into marriage, you have not been able to make the man feel dependent on you, or find comfort in being with you. What a man needs from a wife is not a master’s degree or a job in UK, but care, consolation and comfort. There is no right and wrong in marriage. If there is oneness, everything is right, otherwise everything is wrong. The next three months, be with him with all your heart. Do things for him even if he does not ask you to. Establish your presence as his wife and be with him 100% at heart. Involve with his mother and other family members too. Chant Sivapanchakshari and Namashivaya 108 times every evening loudly in a way that he hears you. Everything will fall in place. Maintain a positive mind that your husband belongs to you. Hari Om.
