pranamam swamiji, i have a friend from manglore,when i told about your bhagavatham and narayaneeyam cd/s she is so interested and she asked me is there any bhagavatham or narayaneeyam cd/s in kannada.she is a working lady so she can hear while trvelling and all.from where can i arrange her those cd/s . and also i am praying for sunila to her mental strenght nd also for fast recovery for her child. hari om

Dear Swamiji, Desires are created in the mind. If someone has strong desires in the mind which is also a form of energy, I understand that cosmic powers ensure that the desire is fulfilled. Stronger the desire, more the energy released and therefore faster the fulfillment. But scriptures like Geeta suggest that we should not have desires since mind loses balance. Why such contradiction? Or is it that my question is senseless? pls explain..

Dear Shriram, Please be clarified, Geeta does not suggest that we should not have desires. Rather, it emphasizes on ‘nishkama karma’ ie: action without attachment to its results, in other words, unselfish performance. Without desire (icha shakthi), there cannot be action (kriya shakthi). And without action, there is no life.

Poojya Swamiji, I really wish, i could attend your spiritual camp in Palakad. but being away wont be able to come. Any possibility of such a camp in ernakulam? I was going through a very bad phase in my life, but accidently i started to hear your sapthahayanjam in Asianet and i bought that CD also. Now slowly i am getting the courage to face my problems.
