Hari Om Swamiji, Lord Krishna tells Arjuna in the Gita that nobody dies, everything is pre-determined, Arjun is only a medium. If this is so, even the act of those who murder others should be justified. Was it not that the death of the victim was pre-determined to be at the hands of the murderer? The murderer was only a medium. Pl explain. With due respects.

Dear Lalitha, Arjuna was a king; his responsibility was to bring the nation in to a Dharmic order. He had to kill the enemies; but, while killing, mind should not carry a guilty consciousness. All other killings can not be justified.

Swamiji, pranam: I’m a proud and humble viewer and good listener of your Asianet program (6.00to6.30). Your preachings have definitely changed my attitude towards life and godly matters. On my recent visit to Guruvayur, I purchased your MP3 cd set of “Narayaneeyam Prabhashanam” and have noticed certain descrepancies in the constitution of 4-cd set containing 26 files. Certain “Dasakams” are missing andor repeated. Kindly advice me where to report these descrepancies. Listening and reading in the proper order gives good satisfaction. The more number of times you listen, you are inspired to listen again and again. That is the greatest aspect your rendering. With humble pranam, Swamiji, please forgive if I have used a different forum to express this fact.

Dear Swamiji – am deeply hurted the way things r going on with me for the last 6 months. Krishna Chaitanyam helped from the beginning of study to till the date of 6.5 years proff career. Now the situation is that I have to resign the job in Delhi (company deliberately wanted to throw out some people). So I am trying for a job outside. Lord Krishna knows what is the reason…. nothing has been turned up so far. Here after putting up the best effort no one is happy. Jobs are coming closer but loosing at the edge. I am really disappointed as I cannot stay back without a job…great Krishna knows his devotees…..but still such experiment with me for 7 months. Because of all these am mentally upset, I don’t really know why such tests in life… Please advice swami. Pranams…Gopakumar

does god himself come to console us when we are in grief. or if i have felt that during the peak of my tragedy ,is it imagination or simply hallucination. This is because when i was in the midst of a big tragedy my friends who were with me at that time told me that I was having a hearty laugh and they were all shocked whether I was becoming mad. But i am still there doing all my normal duties as before and mind does not allow me to think that some thing has happened tome. Why is it so. Dear Swamiji, In our Bhagavatham book from the 1st chapter to 6th chapter ie. Mahathmyam.and from 3rd skantha to 11th skantha ie.Margam(sargam,visargam like….)and the 12th is lakshyam.Am i correct Swamiji?Then what about the 1st and 2nd skantha?is there any name for that also?Please let me know swamiji.

Dear Bhamini, First skantha is to discuss who is qualified to explain Bhagavatham. He should be like Vyasa Puthra, that is Sree Suka. Second skantha represents the qualified listener; he or she should be like Parikshith who was dedicated and committed for that.

Dear Shrikhanth, Why do you doubt? It is a story. Any way, that plane represents our powerful and imaginative mind which can travel anywhere without any pilot.

Swamiji, Pranam. In all our Puranic stories the need for a son is often sought. I think this is the main reason for preference to males in our society. Is it not discriminatory?
