Swamiji, Pranam 1. In Karkida vavu, as per Bhagavatha..you said the Soul/Atma is roaming in the pitru loka, till it gets a new sperm and united with an egg. But as per Geetha you says by the time we near to the old age (45-50 yrs) we have already decided our next birth to be with our present karma / or attitude. Then how can the atma/soul wait till the time it gets into a new egg?? And the atma is wandering till the time it gets a new birth?? Also Krishna says the papikal, people doing “thinma,” are directly going to the Asura Yoni… why it takes then so much time (12-15 days) in getting a new birth.. and why the soul is there to accept the pindam?? It should immediately get a new body as per its earlier Karma..good or bad. 2. If one do not do the ritual, what will happen to him/her.. as he is Vishnu Bhakt.. always praying to Narayana.. and after all VISHNU is everything.. Narayana..

Thank you Swamiji for that wonderful explanation on Geetha quote. I searched many sources for a convincing answer. But you only gave me the correct one. Now I understood what was the mistake in my thinking..Hari Om!

Pranam Swamiji, One day a person asked Ramakrishna Paramahamsar to take him as his disciple. Swamiji told him to come to me when you think water in Ganga and water in street canal seems to be the same. He asked how can treat pure and sacred Ganga water with dirty canal water. Then Swamiji said look as you seems Ganga water is pure and you are using it, same like that the insects and beings stay in canal treat the canal water so pure. From your angle it may be dirty, but from their angle it is pure. Swamiji, what is the inner meaning of this. Whr we shud treat good people and bad people alike. Due to his karma phala he took birth as asura. Is it ? Pls ads.

Dear Swamiji, From your spiritual teachings what i understand that life is so simple. We (mind/soul/sooshma sareera / jeevatma) is just travelling in search of new body in order to fulfill its desires and to complete the karma phala. Once the body perishes it travels again with the burden of punya / papa attained during that life and join in another body. Our aim shud be to purify the soul by doing meditation, pranayama and nama japa and reduce the papa. The travelling ends when the punya / papa is nullified. Nobody can expalin life more beautifully as you did. Pls comment and add if i omitted any valid points. Tks.

Dear Swamiji, Recently i heard a lecture from a Guru who says one person takes birth as a soodra and with his karmas he becomes a brahmin. i hv a different view on this. One person is taking birth with 3 liabilities – liability to devas, hrishis and pithrukal. A brahmin boy is getting upanayanam at his 8th age and from that day onwards he is doing sandya vandanam where tharpanam is a vital item. Putting poonool (sacred thread) on right side he is doing tharpanam to devas and putting the poonool as mala he is doing tharpanam to hrishis standing in the water to eastern side and putting the poonool to left side he is doing tharpanam to pithrukal standing to southern side. Thus from his 8th age to say 70 years he is doing the tharpanam in the morning and evening, thus reducing the liabilities to hrishis, devadas and pithrukal. This custom is not followed by vysya, shathriya and soodras. Then how they are reducing the liabilities – by way of temple visit, reading puranas and ithihasas and doing pithru karmas to the departed ones. Liabilities to the parents are commonly done by looking after them at their old age. Again brahmins are doing shodasa samskara karmas which other community is not doing. When he is in mothers womb, pumsavana and seemantham etc are done which are part of shodasa samskara and thus he is coming out as a brahmin boy only. A person who is taking birth in a brahmin, vysya, soodra or shathriya family depends on his karma phala. How he lives here is secondary. A brahmin can live as a chandala and vice-versa. Since these are the facts, how can we say that a person is taking birth as a soodra. Pls advs.
