Maya has many meanings, however one meaning is holding something which is not going to exist ever with us. That is why our love creates a fear, we know it won’t be there for ever, still we are not able to leave it. That is what maya is. HariOm!

2) Why are there multiple vocabularies (with somewhat different meanings) for cosmology, for example: Aditi, shakti, Mula-prakriti/para-prakriti, saguna brahman? Why did different systems not use the same vocabulary – just as they shared terms like atman, karma etc.even though with different interpretations

Dear Swamiji, In one of your lecture, u said that our body is like a fish tank. Fish is jeevatma or subconscious mind, four glass walls are body and water filled is paramatma(concious mind). In another lecture, u said that eventhough jeevatma is sitting in the body, paramatma is not sitting in the body. How above 2 statements matching? Actually paramatma (conscious enery) is every where and jeevatma, body, mind everything is sitting in the paramatma. Hence in the first statement why paramatma is restricted to the framework (four glass walls). Rqst u to clear our doubt. Tks & Regds, V. Unnikrishnan.

You are right, that is why no example can ever give you perfect and true answers. I would also give an example like the air in lungs as Jeevatma and the air outside as Paramatma. No example can give complete explanation to the Indescribable Supreme Truth. HariOm!

Swamiji, my father died due to cardiac arrest. It was totally unexpected. Me, my mum and sister are experiencing extreme grief. My question swamiji, how true is that if the wishes of the dead are unfulfilled at time of death then the soul again takes birth in the same family? Does that really happen?

Pranam Swamiji, My sister got a marriage proposal from a boy working as software engineer in Wipro, US. The horoscopes are matching. But the astrologer said that this boy has an elder brother who suicided years before and his final rituals not done properly and he is still in “prethavastha” . The soul departed from the body very painfully and inorder to bring the soul to “Pithru loka” (bhuvar loka), Narayana bali has to be done and “shetra pinnam” to be placed at Rameswaram. When we discussed this with the boy’s family, they agreed that their elder son suicided 9 years before due to a love failure, but they are not willing to do any more ceremonies for him now. I feel so lost and lonely. I dont know if i am i wrong or are the situations wrong,i am so confused.Please help.I have been married for 7 months now through arranged marriage and am 3 months pregnant now.In the beginning it was extremely hard for me to accept and trust a stranger as my husband for life.He was not sweet or romantic like how people are in the beginning and he never seemed to care much ,so i had begged and cried and asked my family to break the engagaement but they refused saying he is a really good and nice person and the best guy for me with a very good future and belonging to a good family.Yes,his family is good and they treat me very well but i feel lost and not loved by him.I had a colleague at work with whom i used to share everything and every part of my life maybe becuase he himself was depressed and like me.My husband doesnt seem to need me or my love,he has a very loving family and a lot of people in his neighbourhood and workplace,that is he is extroverted unlike me (i am introverted and so was my colleague)As our friendship grew ,my colleague had told me he wanted to stay with me but i refused because of my family pressure and also societal pressure.I am not that courageous and cannot make very strong decisions like some girls do .I dont know if this is weird/creeepy or normal but my husband and his mother love each other a lot and she seems to be a good and kind lady.But what seems strange is my husband keeps hugging her,touching her,kissing her and pressing her legs and massaging her and telling her how beautiful she is very often.My mother and my brother are very close and have a strong loving relationship but i have never seen him do or say all these things to my mother as i grew up.I find this weird and creepy and disturbing,does a son have to do all this everytime to a mother.Is it normal between a mother and a son.Please help ,i am confused and feel like i have wasted a life.i am sorry if i am asking is wrong,i dont seem to understand anything.Please kindly help me with your guidance and also please help me or give me tips to direct my mind in a divine way so i can elevate my mind to a higher level.
