Pranam Swamiji, I need a clarification regarding Guru upadesha & Mantra upadesha.Now a days so many people are taking Guru upadesha & am aware that if we take mantra upadesha when that mantra is chanted at “swayam bu” pilgrimages then it is said that 1000 times chanted.Pls guide me i can also take this both if yes by whom, where,when & how.

I would always suggest the MahaMantra (“Hare Rama… Hare Krishna…”) to all devotees. Understand, it is not the Mantra, but the devotion and commitment that makes the chanting absorb into your mind. That will purify the mind to experience divinity. HariOm!

hare krishna swamiji, i would like to know that ,how much important a guru’s role in a devotee’s life. is it must to accept a guru in spiritual journey..?and what is the procedure for accepting a guru? i want to know about the 4 kinds of sabradhay, i.e. madhav sabradhay, sree sambradhay, rudra sambradhay, and kumara sambradhay….all these have gurus… so how can i accept a guru in my life? can u explain for me swamiji?????hari hari…

guruji… namasthe it is said that a man has to perform his swadhharma,without worrying about the results..in Geetha Lord Krishna tells Karmanye vadhikaarasthe ma bhaleshu kadhachana..Bhagavan tells Arjuna that as he is a Kshathriya it is his duty to fight..I would like to ask 2 doubts 1.how can we identify our swadharma? 2.It is said that one has to obey his parents.But some times we find it difficult…say while choosing our profession/higher studies or even in the case of marriage.In such a case how can we select the RIGHT path..when we persuade our dream (which is against our parents wish)we may feel that we are neglecting our duty as a child..at the same time when we drop our wish for the sake of parents that also will torment our mind..In such a case how can one take a wise decision?

Pranam Swamiji, I need a solution to my problem which am facing internally.now a days am doing pranayama & meditation very seriously & am extended the time period to daily 1 hour to 2 hours. am getting so many positive thoughts in my mind & experiancing the difference in my life & almost in weekends am reading bagavath geeta whenever i get time.NOw my question is am taking all thoughts positive & implementing them but now am getting to married within a short period & my mind is thinking that if after marriage also i may concentrate like before or any mudane thoughts may disturbs me because in geeta Lord Krishna says pls don’t be attached with kama & kroda they will remove ur knowledge or knowledge is covered with kama.My Mind is thinking in such a positive way that why kama is also a part of life & without that there is no generations. I also read in some scriptures that suka maharshi was guided by janaka maharaja to marry & gave birth to children,But he got moksha then so many people like Mahatma Gandhi,Einstain,etc they also got married but they became great.our scriptures also says Dharma,Artha,Kama & Moksha.But why am getting disturbed & getting a guilty feeling & my mind is disturbed when i think about Geeta what Lord says.from 2 days onwards am unable to do meditation properly if i didn’t get confident solution i may not do meditation & so that i get so many negative thoughts.pls help me Swamiji.
