Pranam Guruji – presently i live alone and my daily routines are wake up in the morning hear your telecast mostly on half sleep and then go for bath after which Prayer will be in a hurry burry go to work come back cook eat and sleep. Each time i will try to do meditation one day i do and then for 10 days nothing. I would like to have some routine where i would like to have my prayer in peace and meditate. I beleive you will put me on to the right path as i will be 39 by June. atleast for the rest of my life i would like to know GOD and be with him.

Respected Swamiji, People who have received Mantra Diiksha from their Guru meditate on it whereas others who have not received such Diiksha chant the name of God which comes to their mind. What is the difference between Mantra Diiksha received from the Guru and the ordinary chanting of the Lord’s name. Yours respectfully Balagopal

Hari Ohm Swamiji. First of all let me thank God for the spiritual guidance given through you, through your speeches and this excellent discussion forum. Not sure whether you are remembering me, I have attended your recent Gita speech series in Singapore. I (and my wife) have started doing meditation in accordance with the training you gave us. My question is related to this (practise of meditation). I feel like the effectiveness of the meditation is degrading a bit with time. This is because the brain/ mind is getting ‘by hearted’ of the steps (pranayaman, japam, dhyanam) to be followed and it has a tendency to rush through the steps. In other words it is becoming more like a ‘procedure’ than actually experiencing it. Mind may deviate and then I have to bring it back forcefully (I had the same issue earlier, when I practiced japam). Guess that I have to do more practice to improve on this, but I would like to check with you whether you have an advise to overcome this problem. One more question- We plan our vacation for Dec’12 so that we can attend the Bhagavatha Sapthaham at Aattukal Devi temple, Tvpm (Dec10-17, as you mentioned after the speech). Just wanted to check whether this program is confirmed as of now.
