Namasthe Swamiji Vibhishana is considered to be an uthama bhaktha, so dear to God.Yet he is generally despised by the people for his role of fighting against his own brother for valid dharmic reasons.Hence, Vibhishana is referred as a ‘fifth column’in contemporary language and not even the devotest Ram bhakta will dare to name his son as Vibhishan. Neither have I heard of anyone, living or dead, with this name.Sreekrishna also killed a number of his unscupulous relatives, yet he remains the darling of the masses of all times.My question is how come this dichotomy in approach in the case of Krishna and Vibhishana.Perhaps, his case is just the role reversal of Karna in Mahabharath, where, at a later stage, even when he came to know that he too was the son of Kunthi, he refused to change his side on’moral’ grounds, eventhough the the company he supports were all people whose morals are not dharmic. Yet, in the contemporary world he is being worshiped as a hero, unlike in case of Vihishana whose name only invites a derisive laughter or contempt

Hari Om swami.I am watching the sat sang continuously last 6,7 months through asianet.I am waking up in brahmuhurth (4 am) and doing dyanam,pranayamam,kapal bathi etc.I love lord krishna very much.swami daily am chanting gita,and almost hearing bhajan etc,whatever am doing it’s not enough,feeling like that.if we are getting thirsty for water like that is my feelings.please guide to me.

Dear Swamiji, I have only just started my spiritual journey and see you as my Guru. I try to surrender my all to God, as you say, but this is not easy. I am so used to the material world that sometimes even God seems like a stranger. I generally lead a content life with minimal attachments. But one repetitive thought bothers me and I am unable to break free from it. I am a 35 years old woman and unmarried. I feel left out and have a kind of yearning to be a wife and mother. I understand that I acquired this ‘need’ from the society we live in and misguided by movies and books – the need to find ‘true love’ (often confused for other base emotions) and have a happy family. I desperately want to break free from this feeling that I am somehow incomplete. What can I do to help myself? Is finding a (so-called) life partner that important?
