please describe tantra and manthra

Dear Sreeraj,
Thantra is a technic which helps the mind to unite with the God who is the soul (Chaithanyam) through silent remembrance of Lord with mudras( acions with body).
However Manthras are loud recitations with the intention of uniting the mind with Self.
Both help us to get concentration .
