Dear Meeraji,
Actually you have misunderstood my statement.
When you listen to the whole talk, you will understand that “any thing we do mechanically, that means without mental involvement, has no use at all in spirituality”.
You can chant any mantra any where at any time provided you bring your feeling and devotion in to that.
ln Gita 8th chapter 7th sloka Krishna emphasizes the involvement of mind in the Nama Japam.
