Poojya Swamiji, As Swamiji always quotes about Ratnakaran who became a Valmiki, once a soul realizes (through ‘Thiricharivu’) his Vasanas of Kamam, Krodham, Moham, Lobam, Ahamkaram, Asuya, Arivillayima, etc. (whatever) … and with Vairagya manobhavam through consistent regular Abhyasa of always remembering ‘The Supreme’ working on once vasanas, converts the negative vasanas into positive vasanas of always Blessing Others, Forgiving, Forgetting the past, Considering onself as the Purest being the Amsham of Bhagawan, Immersing in the blissfulness of the Bhagavad Anubhuti, develops these through sincere practice and complete surrender to the Bhagawan, a Papa Athma can rise to a Punya Athma. Then even past deep influences / vasanas will not be carried forward to the next birth. Am I right, Swamiji? Please correct, guide and bless us. Kodi pranamams to Swamiji, Lekshmy Respected Swamiji, Is it true that we are choosing the present life experiances before birth? ( Ex: Choosing bad experiances to learn life lessens) Or is it bad karma phala? Posted by RADHIKA 2012-11-19 Dear Radhikaji, Any experience which has influenced you deeply will never leave you, and it will follow you even in next birth. Read Gita 22nd sloka of 2nd chapter. Hariom!

Dear Lekshmyji,
When you cultivate a positive culture it will weaken your old habits and behaviors.
But you have to practise very sincerely and devotedly. Regular practice of pranayam, AUM reciting and listening to Gita chanting in a meditative posture will help you to transform yourself and that mind alone can immerse in to the deep experience of Oneness with infinite God called Paramatma.
HariOm!
