Pranam Guruji, If Brahma, Vishnu, Maheswara and their wifes and children are Sangalpa Srishti means they hv not lived here before, why we constructed temples for them and worship. Very much confused on this info.. Pls clarify.

People can only relate to what they know or understand. Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara are described as people with families so common man can identify and relate with them easily than trying to think of them as principles of creation, sustenance and recycling in the cosmic world. It is ok to understand them as people at an LKG level, but don’t stop there. Keep learning our scriptures and you will realize the cosmic principles and energies that sustain our lives are personified as Devathas. Hari Om.
