pranam swamiji ?????? swamiji if we are chanting Vishnu sahasranamam , is it necessary to recite chandas ,devatha etc….thank you swamiji for your valuable advice.??????

Hari Ohm. If you have time you may chant the whole text. if not you can cut short to the main part of sahasranama.The most important point you should remember is that ,while chanting whether you are able to dissolve yourself in it with devotion and surrender.If your chanting is just a mind less mechanical activity that will not serve the purpose.give more importance to the participation ,involvement and passion .Let you become a doer ,listener and feeler of your own experience of true devotion.
