Pranam Swamiji.._/_ thank you Swamiji for your explanation on “manas and the brain”. Swamiji, i’ve always heard from my mother that we should acquire a “Vidya/Jnanam” from a Guru, then only it is effective to the fullest. I too have felt that this should be correct since our culture is a Guru-Shishya culture. How can I stay patient enough till I find a Guru and what are the things I should do to make myself worthy of a Guru? Please shed some light on this topic, Swamiji. Om Gurave Namah.._/_

It was true in the olden days that people stayed in the Gurukula system to acquire knowledge and life skills. In today’s world any experience should be taken as a learning process. Now when it comes to spiritual understanding, try to educate yourself on our scriptures. It is said when someone is ready Bhagavan will send the right Guru to him. But to get there you have some homework to do. The tougher terrains of the spiritual dimension needs the help of a master, but start walking yourself. Hari Om
