Pranam Swamiji, As said we hv 3 bodies. 1). Sthoola sareera – came from pancha boodha and returns to pancha boodha once a person dies.2). Sooshma sareera – made up of pancha prana mano budhi plus 5 upa pranas – came from supreme and go back to supreme once a person departs or go for rebirth in order to complete karmic burden or wealth. 3). Kaarana sareera – what is its functions and where it goes when a person dies. Rqst to clarify my doubt. Tks.

Hari Ohm. Karana sareera is the imprinted vasanas (likes and dislikes) and all the 3 gunas and all the thoughts. karanasareera is the part of consciousness ,awareness. Without consciousness we can not think of anything. Then one should understand that everything is rooted in consciousness. As long as one identifies himself with his thoughts one has to take birth until the mind dissolves in namasmaranam.
