Pranam Swamiji, I had two operations in my ear, 1 when I was pregnant for 8 months & luckily nothing happened to my kid and the 2nd time was after 1 & 1/2 years, 1st time the operation was a failure, the Doctor had taken away all the inetror cells of my ear and the 2nd time also I did it with another Doctor and I still had some problem for few months, but lost hearing completely in the ear which was operated. Swamiji I just wanted to know that all my sufferings was due to my last janmas paapam or was it that Doctor was experimenting ona pregnant lady? Iam just confused or that God is puninshing me…Pls answer swamiji…

Dear Bijee,
What you undergo is a decided factor – whether it is a result of a past karma or negligence by the doctor!
Now you have to understand, NEVER allow the mind to brood over whatever has happened.
Because if the mind thinks about the loss, it becomes more and more weak.
A weak mind always gives pain. Convert that mind weakness to strength, by thinking that “God is experimenting on me to see if HE takes away all my abilities whether I become weak or not”.
You have to understand the story of Mahabali; He lost everything , but he was never shattered.
Similarly Helen Keller converted her adversity into advantage.
