Pranam Swamiji, i heard a lecture some time back – subject was Gayatri mantra. Here the scholar lecturer says. We are not supposed to chant Gayatri mantra in Bhumi.. It has to be chant in satya loka only. Hence before chanting we hv to imagine we are crossing all the 7 lokas – bhu loka, bhuvar loka, svar, maha, jana, tapa and satya loka and touch chandas viswa mitra hrishi, gayatri chanta and savita devata and chant gayatri mantra 108 times and again touch chandas and return to bhumi by rounding 7 times ( we may hv seen brahmins rounding 7 times) chanting om namo narayanaya seven rounds imagining we are crossing all 7 lokas finally comes to earth. This is advised by ancient hrishis and brahmins are still following this. For other than brahmins can others chant gayatri mantra without following above. Pls advs.

Hari Ohm. There is no mention of in the scriptures about the place where you should recite these manthras. These manthras are for human beings . I can guarantee you that if you chant these manthras sincerely, you will experience God’s blessings in this life. If you wait for sathyaloka and all I’m helpless because my lokas are confined to the earth alone. I’m convinced of the power of manthras . Never fall into foolish interpretations.
