Pranam swamiji, I ve this doubt for a long time… Swami…geeta explains on doing karma unattached, without really worrying about the result… Surrendering everything @ his lotus feet.. Does this mean we shouldn’t have a material goal? If I request inner god and keep reinforcing my mind of getting a seat in aiims am i actually deviating from my path of spirituality? I m aspiring for MDS surgery.. Sometimes I feel I shouldn’t ask because its prakrithis law and only that happens whatever has to happen irrespective of what the sankalpa is.. But my dear sir says to have ourselves feel the ting of what we want in the future.. Swamiji… The inner god knows better what little I know about this life is his will… But I ve this vasana to stand once in my life get 1st in that exam make my parents and my sir proud.. Become a good doctor..But is it right on my part to do that sankalpa I m scared that I may deviate from the path of spirituality..because I m going against what God has asked to do to realize him.. I m totally confused..

Being a good doctor is a good Sankalpa, which you should achieve.
Spirituality is understanding that your true self is beyond all such roles, even when you play all roles very well.
Look at Krishna, the Jagad Guru, who played so many roles in life, yet unaffected by any of them.
A spiritual seeker will give 100% effort and remains unshakable even when he/she doesn’t achieve it.
Nothing can steal their enthusiasm and initiative.
