Pranam Swamiji, We used to criticize Christians saying God created son with back bone etc.. Siva Kudumbam consists of Siva, Parvathy , Ganesh and Subramanian. Recently knew that Ganapathyy and subramania are not children of Siva and Parvathy instead Parvathy made a statue with mud and gave prana to it thus Ganesh taken birth like that Subramanian is the son of Karthike and other 5 ladies and thus shanmukan taken birth. .Thus a lot of unbelievable facts in Hinduism also. If these are just stories what are the tatwam behind this. Pls advs.

It is important to understand while Semitic religions give a lot of importance to the physical body and going to heaven at the end of life in the same physical form, the focus in Hinduism is on the mind and it’s journey to the Universal Mind. Here, different types of mothers give birth to and raise different types of children. Yet the father is Maheswara. We are all children of prakriti, but through the mother, the focus is to reach the father or the Purusha/ Supreme consciousness. The purpose of life itself for a Hindu is this journey towards Mukthi.
