Pranam Swamiji, Why deva namam is added along with devi namam. For eg: Amme narayana, devi narayana, lakshmi narayana, badrey narayana etc.. But when deva namam is chanted, devi namam is not added. For eg: Harey rama, harey krishna mantra. Pls advs.

It is not that Devanamam is added to Devi namam. Here Mother Goddess is given the stature of the Supreme Lord itself. Such mantras emphazise that She is the Universal Cosmic power and when joined with the Conscious power as denoted by the “Narayana” part, represents the whole existence. Hari Om.
