Pranam Swamiji,Bhagavat Gita says that once a man dies his atma attains another body just like we change our clothes.A member of our family ,who strongly believes in astrology went to look her horoscope and jyotishi told that atma of a man who has died of drowning is causing her problems.Actually her brother in law had died in that manner.when such a prediction came from an unknown person she readily believed in it.My questions are whether lighting lamps in front of a deceased man’s photo and praying to him prevent him attaining moksha or rebirth.Can an Atma cause harm to individuals?And how come this jyothishi give such a prediction.She is totally unaware of our whereabouts.I have read that people dying of snake bite reaches a different Loka ,is there such a case also in death through drowning.Do clear my doubts Swamiji.
