Pranam swamiji, Bhagvatham in a story form is certainly a big welcome from all. Is it convenient swamiji, to include the shlokas also, so that the stories could be related to that particular shloka. Its just a question, we all know you are working too hard to spread an awareness among the public and we all appreciate and thank you for that. I would like to ask you one more thing Swamiji, in today’s mind enrichment you pointed out lord rama’s uniqueness, there’s no doubt about it, but was it good to punish seeta even when her innocence was known to him. Wasn’t it injustice done to seeta. Lord Rama had to consider his subjects, but doesn’t god reside in all the beings including the one we love, then how can seeta be subjected to injustice?

Thank you for your compliments. We have mentioned the Slokas numbers at the end of the story.
Please understand, Lord Rama was not punishing Seeta but he was giving her the most ideal place to live under the protection of Sage Valmiki.
Had the rumours spread like wild fire in the country, Seeta and her children (in her womb and later) would have suffered for no mistake of their own.
They were spared from such humiliation and lived in the Satsang of a Guru, while Rama lived a life of solitude without His most beloved wife.
Here, we see the “Maryada Purushottama” who had sacrificed his personal life for the well-being of his country.
(Please compare today’s rulers with our ancient rulers).
