Pranam Swamiji, Pithru karma (shrardam) for our parents was previously done at home. Now a days it is performed at many temples by name of pithru namaskara or koottu namaskara etc. Is this correct swamiji. Temples are for worshipping devine deities and not for doing poojas for our ancestors. This has to be stopped. In many temples, when devaprasanam is conducted, there seems presence of late souls (pithrukal) which has to be cleared at the time of “parihara kriyakal”. Swamiji, what is your opinion. Now a days bhakthi and rituals are commercialized and it is very difficult to find out who is genuine and who is fraud.
All our Scriptures emphasize on one point that, each one has to perform these rituals.
Because you are offering yourself when you do these things. Prayers are always answered when one surrenders totally.
