Pranam swamiji, Recently i & my friend went to darga(Muslim’s devotional place) but most of the Hindus visit there.i was shocked to see the people who r shouting and running here & there & the person beating with hunter. My friend said that the people were caught by spirits or ghosts & the person beating them is guru of that darga.now my question is they really caught by spirit and the person can remove that.sorry for this because u said in one of the q&a don’t go with negative people or thoughts but i went really am not aware of it.

The worst thing that happens to a person is getting caught up in his own web of negative thoughts.
The more he invests his time and energy in destructive imagination, he become a victim of such a spirit.
Usually a hard beating would free his mind from such thoughts for a time being.
Again he can fall into the same trap.
But our Masters advised Dhyanam or meditation to free our mind from thoughts and dissolve into the inner silence.
Till now, no one could suggest any remedy better than this.
Such was the intelligence of our Great Sages.
