Dear Ajithaji,
It is not the action, but the attitude behind the action that determines its quality and result.
If you have an intimate connection with the Lord, you will have no fear or distance.
Otherwise, any physical or mental impurity will cause fear in you.
Remember the story of Sabari who gave fruits to Lord Rama after biting on each of them.
The Lord accepted it happily and blessed her!
