Pranam Swamiji Swamiji the other day there was discussion about the failure of Buddhism and subsequent invasion of the mughuls and then the reinstatement of sanatana dharma by Sri Adi Shankara. One of my collegues who is a hindu himself was enquiring what if the muguls invaded and that all of us were to become muslim; after all God is one and how does it matter what faith we follow? i tried to make him see reason saying that of course it is not the path that is important but since each mind is different it is difficult to make everyone to follow one faith forcebily which in turn will bring about hatred. Although i told him it is not any religions belief that is the problem but a few people misinterpreting it that is the problem. But he kept arguing and i remained silent thinking that no point in talking to him. Now the situation is such that i literally avoid his company. Swamiji am i right? Kindly guide.
