True Mantras are not asking for begging some thing.
It is a sincere and dedicated commitment that we will achieve or implement that which we undertake. Gayathree mantra is recited to remind us to follow the guidance of supreme intelligence in us.
Instead of that, if you follow your emotional mind then you are bound to suffer in your life. Use emotion for pleasure, but use intelligence for strength.
