Pranamam Swamiji, As I analysed myself, my ego was not totally Surrendered to the Lord…So as I was thinking why I cannot Surrender… it’s because…a particular thought did God create the world for people to serve him… I foolishly think that this Japa, worship, singing the glories of the Lord, this samsara… Lord is making us do all these and it is for that we are here….I know Swamiji that this is a foolish thought, Since Japa and all the methods are there to kill the ego in each one of us and to merge into the universal self…I like to love the Lord without these kinds of thoughts and accept the will of Krishna but something, an egoistic thought is restricting me……With love and respect

Devotion in its pure form is possible only if you are simple and child- like in your heart. The more analytical and critical your nature is, the less chance your ego will fully surrender. That is why Bhagavan himself has given you other ways to approach him…..be it karma, jnana or a combination of these methods. Understand Divinity as the pure consciousness in you and any of your acts as a way to reach there. Do not personify God and think of HIM as someone who needs his devotion, prayer or praises. Hari Om.
