Pranamam Swamiji, as we grow on this path of spirituality, there are times when I feel like i have come so far, i have improved a lot and am able to manage so much and feel close to the truth beyond the lies but then there are times when i feel like i slipped back to square one though i never wanted to and its like my strong vasanas from the past pull me to act or behave like before and sometimes some people label us and it is difficult to remove these labels from my own mind.Like people say i am sensitive and its so difficult to change even when i am trying so hard. Also when sometimes few people praise us for our goodness or performance we tend to get complacent and stop improving..One more doubt i have in mind, when some people insult us at some point in the past when we seemed weak and then later they change their behaviour towards us when we are performing better and ask for our help, how is it possible for us to forget the past and do atleast a bit help if not much knowing that they are selfish and never going to do anything in return.I understand by law of karma though they might not help some other good people will help when we need it,yet its difficult to forget the insult and help them.Even if I achieve some progress on the path of spirituality ,i am finding it difficult to maintain it.What really is sadhanas and what are the sadhanas that i must do ,i am a 28 yr old working mother of a 3 yr old son.Thanking you for your guidance and blessings.

The first thing in spiritual growth is, not to complicate life. Take it easy and simple, like a fresh breath of air. Do not worry about what people said, thought or did, but think of how your thoughts, words and deeds must be. In every situation think what is the best possible way you can respond. Have the courage to do it. Even when you make a mistake, learn from it and do better next time. You will never stop growing spiritually….every experience should teach you something and help you be a better person. That is real sadhana. Hari Om.
