Pranamam Swamiji. During the telecast of Ramakathasagaram in Surya TV, on 03.05.10, it is pronounced by the venerable Swamiji that though Swamiji visited Ayohya and Sri Lanka, Swamiji does not believe in the real story of Sri Rama’s, and hence the implied meaning is that no such thing happened. Swamiji a great scholar has pronounced that the expic is was written on mere belief which may interpret by the common man as a fake one and it pave the way for other sects to criticise our purans to the full extent. I may kindly be enlighted.

Dear Aravindan,
Our religion is of self-criticism
All our masters openly criticized many rituals which we followed.
Do not bring down our religion into a semantic way as other religions do.
(When Krishna told Arjuna that HE taught Spiritual Wisdom to Lord Sun, then Arjuna criticized Krishna “Don’t talk nonsense”).
