The important thing is to keep his mind busy and involved. You will need to prepare a time table for him and train him to do activities without staying idle for too long. Give him small tasks to do. Appreciate him when he achieves. Slowly give him bigger and higher tasks and encourage him to perform. It is important to walk the journey with him. His parents need to find extra time for him.
