Pranamam Swamiji Swamiji I have a question. I know Life and death are the two processes here, and death means the beginning of a new life, and I am the immortal self which passes through every life. And I have the strength to face this life joyfully till the end. But at the time of death the joy we have experienced so far in our life comes to a stop( and we become unconscious of ourselves and the joy we have experienced). A Saint who experienced the highest state of unending bliss in his life becomes unconscious, not knowing that blissful nature that he had experienced and merges into Paramatman at the time of death. That is After death whatever joy one has experienced is not remembered by the person. And let it be a sinner, the struggles and the disaster he faced in life is not felt any more, at the time of death. That is at the time of death, The saint and the sinner knows nothing and is unconscious of what they experienced in that life. Swamiji Iam never being pessimistic, I think in my knowledge Iam unanswerable to myself….I like to be in joy every moment, but when I realise that one day this joy would end and I would be unconscious, then what for is this joy? Please help me with the right way of thinking

The one who really rejoices in the present moment has absolutely no worry about future, before death or after death.
You may plan for future, you may have realistic concerns, still you will not worry about what can possibly happen to you in future.
When you sincerely and creatively involve in service you will experience real happiness.
When you fine tune your mind with positive thoughts that bring prosperity to all and work towards that goal, you will feel empowered.
Remember, any thought of fear comes from a mental weakness or desire (to get something or not to lose something).
True freedom is in feeling courageous, which you get from regular Nama Japam and meditation.
