Pranamam swamiji After hearing your Bhagavatham at ekm i have following sugustions.Muslims here converts makes Mosque using middle east funds, Christains get funds from vatican to maintain theier churchus/conversions.If we all hindu stop doing vazhipaddu how do we maintain our temples,as our great bharat gov doesnt support the temples with any funds .So i believe Vazhipadu,donation to temple is not to be stopped .but one should not anticipate any thing in return from the god for the same.Pls clear my doubt on to this pls.Namasthe

Dear Menon,
When you offer some money for the maintenance of temples, that is called Danam, not vazhipadu. Vazhipadu is an offer with a desire and expectation in mind.
