Pranamam Swamiji, thanks for all the nice answers, but sometimes when we look into the outside transactional world we are so confused about the right path for success, like at work I see that shrewd people are the people who stay on till the end even though their qualities, skills and knowledge is not good like these two woman i know love to fake sweetness, backstab, gossip, try to look much younger than their age but have stayed on this job for over 30 yrs now even though they are not that knowledgeable and dont even have as much job and computer skills like us youngsters but they do have better people skills and many times even misguide customers, ours is a government organization so they could stay on,but as for me and i have found other young woman like me who are fed up,frustrated and feel like giving up in 5 to 6 yrs though we try to be nice, but these woman could hang on so long and will surely go till the end and i strongly feel it must be because of their shrewd mind that they can stay on against all odds and constantly use others for their advantage, i feel i must be thick skinned and shrewd like them to be successful in practical life at work or i cant survive without my mind being disturbed by inner frustrations that affect my family life.I have seen some virtous and kind hearted woman who end up in trouble and lonely later.I feel confused. My husband has a very busy job and he says professionals have a very hectic job with very less time for leisure and family and i know i must support him but how can I ,when i myself am frustrated, i wonder if this is the real purpose of life, just running, being busy and frustrated and no doubt earning but never really at peace. How do we make our lives more worthwhile and uplift our minds from these confusions. Thanks a lot.Hari Om

You are just a slightly overwhelmed young woman who takes stressors of life too seriously. A problem becomes ours only to the extent you grab it. The skill in life is to know when to drop “issues”. You wanting to be successful at work is fine….but you becoming agitated about your seniors at work having better social skills is unnecessary. They may not be computer saavy like the youngsters but they have life experiences and the ability to smile and please others which you should learn from them. A lot of young couple now are “financially safe”, but emotionally deprived. Find sometime to talk to your husband and see what you can do about it. Get help at home if you can afford. Stop worrying about others….focus on making yourself better. Hari Om.
