Thoughts bother you only if you associate with them and become a part of it. Practice meditation to see your thoughts as separate from you. Then you will be a witness to them and the negativity will not bother you. Try to meditate early in the morning and chant “Hare Rama, Hare Krishna…..” . Hari Om.
