pranamam swamiji Why hindus are saying do not touch the mensured persons while we are going before temple.In ” Harinamakeertham” says she can namajapam on that time. but in house not allowed her to lighting lamb in mornig & sunset and consider do not touch her . what happend when touching & cooking in kitchen pls clarify

During menustrual period the female aura is not very receptive to ethereal atmospheres. Hence she is asked not to go to the temple or sacred places and activities. There is no problem in Namajapam as you mentioned. Physical cleanliness and right attitude are important in cooking Satwic food. In olden days, it probably was a way of allowing the female 4-5 days of rest from the heavy house-hold duties, by keeping her away. All other exaggerated practices are superstitions that happened over time. We have to apply these things with understanding in our modern lives. Hari Om.
