Pranamama!. Swamiji, Crores of jivas embodied in different bodies are suffering in this world in different extents. It is said, all due to their past karmas. The ultimate purpose of each jiva is liberation, for which our Acharyas found numbers ways as yogas. Everything including the circumstances, where all these jivas are placed in miseries are created by the Supreme God. (Indriyas, mind, ego, objects of senses everything) Adisankara said “manobudhyahankara……… chitaanandarupa sivoham”. And all the scriptures are teaching us the ways of getting out of this maya. My question is, if maya is a creation of God, Jivas are the eternal truth, then why did HE made samsaara to suffer these eternal blissful jiavas? why are they suffering in under this maya?. And what made them suffer in this maya? What is the purpose of this game played by the Almighty.

We should understand God as the supreme conscious intelligence or Purusha and Nature as Prakriti or Maya (One that changes). The presence of both is inevitable as each validates the other. When I see you, it is my consciousness that validates your presence, likewise your presence validates my awareness. So neither Prakriti nor Purusha exists independently. However, if all of Nature was to become non-existent, the Supreme consciousness still remains but in a dormant form – As described by Mahavishnu in Yoganidra at the end of Pralayam. Once life force or Prana quickens the conscious energy to create the world of forms, Samsara with Trigunas manifest. Since everything should finally dissolve into the root source, the poornabodham or Supreme awareness is the final destination. Hari Om.
