Pranam, Guruji, I have kept ‘Lord Krishna’ murthi, in my house. This was bought from Guruvayoor. This murthi is 3 feet height with a flute. One of my friend who visited me told that at Home we should not keep the flut on Lord Krishna. Is it correct ? Should I keep the flut on the murhty or remove it. Kindly advise. I used to watch you on Surya tv everyday in the morning. Pranam

Dear Vijayan,
Majority of Hindus are unfortunately ignorant about the philosophy of our religion.
The cute form of Krishna with flute represents our body and soul. The flute is our body, the nine holes are the nine holes in our body (2 eyes, 2ears, 2 nostrils,1 mouth,1 urinal,1 anus=9).
The bamboo stick is our body. When Hindus die the body is carried to burial ground on bamboo sticks, indicating that our body is like a bamboo. Lord Krishna is our soul.
Without life or consciousness the body can’t live the life.
So to teach this Vedavyasa created this picture of Lord Krishna with flute.
Lord Krishna says, ” fools fear me and my sincere devotees love me”. So if you really love Lord Krishna, then keep the flute.
If you don’t keep the flute, the Lord will not punish you, but your suspicious mind can.
