Pranams swamiji ….I have asked many questions from you earlier and got very satisfactory answers. Thanks a lot for guiding us with your knowledge. I have some more doubts to ask. How do we learn to forgive people who have hurt us? How do we stop bad thoughts coming to our mind when we see people who are unjust , rude and crooked ,do well in life.We develop a feeling that they do not deserve good experiences.I sort of feel bad about thinking bad..but i can’t get the irritating feeing off my mind. I have time and again tried to forgive them and taken steps to heal the reationship , but they are sweet only when they need something , other times they back stab and insult very gravely. Pls advice me on how to forgive them and attain peacefulness . Is there any way they can attain peace too? They are not very God believing.I feel bad when i see them surrounded in their own hate for everybody.

Dear Paru,
When people hurt you, think that God is testing your patience through someone. If I am a sincere devotee of the lord, I will never allow my mind to become impatient. When you patiently face these insults, the other person is defeated. Mind is the instrument which can attract both good and bad. Mind is like a screen and cannot distinguish between good and bad. Our culture helps us to distinguish between these. So if you develop a spiritual culture, you will learn to look at everything with a balanced mind, and with such a mind nothing can disturb you.
