pranams swamiji, we are namboodiri family and we were staying out of india and kerala for several years ,now settled in palakkad , our second son is going to marry a nair girl . Both are in bangalore. In the bigining itself he told about the relationship , we have basically no objection . but as a rural area people will take as asubject to discuss. we have another son he is not married with his full permission we accepted this and ready to face the issues together . Your son will be in a blissful relation and your new daughter will be a blessing to your household. In our culture, the mother-in-law receives the new girl with a lighted lamp to the house. I am sure you will be able to light a divine lamp of love and warmth in your heart as well. Let your daughter-in-law feel that love and caring from you and return it to all members of your family. Any petty talks in the community will fade, as long as the family stays strong and bound together.
