pranams there is a small difference of opinion. please clarify it. my motherinlaw will light the lamp in front of god some 4-5 times every day and put it off for every person as and when they take bath and come to swami room. wheras i light it in the morning put lot of oil so that it burns all day and put it off only at night round 9. for this we have argument sometimes saying i am wasting oil but the lamp light gives me some satisfaction. as if i feel the lord is with me when it burns all day. which is the correct way. please clarify.
