Age does not determine the readiness to marry. To have a family, we need physical well being, financial stability, good education to raise children well, and emotional maturity to handle another person intimately. When a Man and Woman have met these criteria they can marry. The most important thing is the ability to accept something that is very different from you, as your own. The spouse’s behavior, the spouse’s family, and their shortcomings. Only when there is total mutual surrender does oneness happen. For that, we should be able to place the other person’s ego above ours willingly and take care of it. An age where that maturity happens is ideal for marriage. Hari Om.
