Dear Girijaji,
See, so called rituals have no scientific meaning, unfortunately these are followed foolishly. Understand, Krishna is beyond the “punyaham” of the priest. Not only that, Krishna neglected these harmless actions of priests when they were doing a Yagnam and blessed their wives because of their heart full, real love.
