Respected Chaithanyaji, It is heard that kerala have been made by Parasurama and Mahabali was the great ruler of it. Also the order of the 10 incarnations of Maha Vishnu is Mtsya Koorma Varahascha Narasimhascha Vamana Ramo Ramascha Rama Sri Krishna Kalkir Janardhana. ie, Parasurama is after Vamana, Then how the area built by Parasurama can rule by Maha Bali? This is covered in Bhagavathamrutham.
We need to realize that our Great Rishis were very intelligent and great scholars who could analyze human mind intelligently.
They used all these stories to impart the THATHWAM; yet they did not want us to get stuck up in the stories!
So, we can see that there are so many contradictory stories in Puranas.
The intention is, Instead of developing trust in such stories, we need to see the TRUTH hidden in the stories.
Just like we peel off the skin of a banana and eat the fruit, we have to absorb the THATHWAM and discard the stories.
we can see this confusion in many Hindus; studying the scriptures carefully is the only remedy for this problem.
