Respected Swamiji, I have been hearing you and watching you regularly in various programmes and also in TV. I would be extremely grateful if you kindly clear my doubts on the following:- (1) It is often stated by you in various discourses that ‘Jyothisham’ has no scientific basis and the predictions made by these ‘Jyothishies’ are all not logical. But it is a fact that renowned Maharshies like Varahamihira etc. only have written detailed works on Jyothisham and it is also our experience that there are ‘jyothishies’ who predicts future events so accurately that their predictions just happens! While your views are most logical, Sir, will you kindly help me out of this contradiction? (2) It is said that one Mind cannot change another Mind unless it submit itself for the change. But is it possible to influence/change the thinking of one mind by performing some ‘poojas’ or doing some prayers or by doing deep meditation. e.g. Can I influence the Mind (thinking) of my son who is staying presently, say 1000 KMs away? (3) While matching horoscopes for marriage purposes, ‘Papasamyam’ is one parameter generally considered. If Kuja is placed in the 8th house of the girl’s horoscope then it is not good for the longevity of the would be husband. To nullify this effect the would-be-husband’s horoscope should have Kuja in 7th which results in an early death of would be wife. How is that then these two horoscopes Matches? Similarly papasamyam is allow quite confusing. Both should have almost equal papa strength. Will not these papas add up and create more problems in life than one nullifying another?
