Respected Swamiji, In your answer section i read Karna and Arjuna were equal in their skills. In the story Karna pushed back the chariot of arjuna 2 steps backwards using the power of arrows. Krishna admired Karna because Karna pushed back the chariot containing Krishna and Hanuman. Please clear my doubt both are not equal.

Karna may be equal or even more powerful than Arjuna, but ultimately Arjuna killed him. It is important to understand what this metaphor means. Now, understand Arjuna is you, his chariot is your body, his horses are your senses, it’s reins are your mind, Hanuman is your Prana and Krishna is your Budhi. Karna represents one of the several enemies or challenges you face in life. If you live like Arjuna, with the control of your senses and mind taken over by your Budhi(vivekam/ Intelligence) then, no challenge in life can overpower you, even when it may seem to be more powerful than you. Hari Om.
