Respected Swamiji I would like to begin by stating that I listen to your talks over Asianet channels both in the morning and evening. The principles that you expound are a source of inspiration and comfort. But there are times when I feel very disappointed with you, Swamiji, And that is when you stress on discipline for girls. Of course you do state that its important for boys but then that’s only as an afterthought. You would be aware of the ill treatment that women are subjected to in our country right from birth. When I read about the innumerable rapes and murders in the newspapers, I cannot help feeling that if the proper moral values had been instilled in boys right from childhood itself, our country would have been much safer for women. These are revolutionary changes which can be initiated by social and religious leaders. Hari Om Mrs. Padma

I see that you have stated the need for instilling moral values in boys.
Now tell me, who is most responsible in this?
Obviously the child’s mother, because the age upto five years is very crucial in developing the child’s human values.
If a woman can not be a respectful and responsible mother she can not bring up her children as good human beings.
So, I always project the importance of the role of women in family and society.
A wise mother can save many generations.
HariOm!
