Respected Swamiji, Thank you for clarifying the unimportance of Rahu Kalam and “pelas” in the recent episode. I ask those who follow Rahu Kalams why they do not observe it for eating and for going to toilet. Re: purity for prayers, Sri Rmana Maharshi often used to cite the example of Kannappan, the Siva devotee, who used his spit to do abhishekam to the Siva lingam and his left over meat as offering.
